How is the best way to lose weight with wii fit?
July 2nd, 2009 by | Filed under General Talking.I am just a kid and have a wii fit account but not making much progress. Yeah sure, a little, but less than 10 lbs in 2 months. I am also trying to limit my calories to around 1300 per day. Some days i go below 1000 (not often), some days about 2000, though but I do try! Oh yeah, I’ve seen a lot about kids not being too serious with weight, but I’m about 4′ 11" and still growing but my growth spurt is done i think and my doctor says I do need to lose. Plus, it’s not like i have an eating disorder or anything! I need to lose about 30 pounds to get a normal bmi. I do yoga but nothing else outside of the home right now. I want to have the weight gone by the end of my first semester back in school. Please help me out- and thanks in advance!

Wii fit is not going to give you the kind of results you want. There is no "easy" way to work out, the harder you try, the better it will work.

My dad lost 30 pounds on the wii fit in 5 months. His favorite activity is the SUPER Hula Hoops. Too bad you look like an idiot while doing it, but that’s the price you pay for beauty.

Honestly by not eating enough calories you are hurting your metabolism and making it harder for yourself to lose weight.
1. eat SMALL healthy meals at least 5 times a day. SMALL MEALS…
2. exercise at least 4-5 times a week.
3. cut out sugar, starches (rice, potatoes, white bread)
4. bring in natural foods. As a rule when you look at the ingredients "if you can’t read it, don’t eat it"
5. when I was actually dieting the thing that really helped me was looking at labels. If anything had more than 3-4 grams of fat in a serving I wouldn’t eat it.
6. every 2 weeks change your workout routine. Keeping muscles challenged by changing muscle groups helps IMMENSELY.
I did all the above and lost the 30 pounds I wanted to. Unfortunately I didn’t stick to it… But it works.
Really you should be exercising out of wii fit, but I suggest that you should do the jogging exercise with weights in your hand. Hope I helped!

wii fit aerobics don’t really help; even though they’re a blast! try the strength and yoga. do planks, push-ups, and hard-2-hold yoga. do it as much as possible (schedule 30 mins-1 hour a day).
and run! run like the wind! go on one of those long walks. run hard! PS: here are some other ideas. ask your parents to buy you these to be healthier:
breakfast:

-Special K cereal with skim milk
-Cheerios cereal with skim milk
-Weight Watchers breakfast bars
lunch:
yummy
-weight watchers snack packs (looks like lunchables. contains mini chicken wraps and other healthy choices)
-100 Calorie packs
-Yogurt
dinner:
-try anything! WHEAT BREAD is a great choice!
extra tips:
-drink a bottle of water [an hour or less] before lunch and dinner. this fills you up faster in a healthy way.
-exercise 15 minutes a day (jogging-maybe with the dog?)
