How can i lose weight quickly and safely?

I’m thirteen-years-old and i really want to lose around ten pounds. I am about 5 ft. 3 in. and i weight 137 in pounds. I think that it’s stupid to take pills (plus i’m only thirteen) so that’s not a choice. My mom would just put me down if i told her that wanted to lose weight so she probably wouldn’t buy Special K (she says they’re too expensive.)

So is there any way i can lose ten pounds in around two weeks?
I don’t want pills.
I want something i can do by myself. Not go out and buy some stuff that my mom would just laugh at.

    heyy
    well there is no point in just not eating, bcuz u will end up putting on more weight. so excercise, and eat sensibly. Like fruit salad, pasta salad, and EXCERCISE!! ride a bike for an hour. if you so swimming for half an hour you lose 200 pounds. snack on healthy things too. you can eat chocolate, but dont overdo it. good luck!

    drink lots of water, and eat regularly. don’t starve yourself, because once you start eating again, you’ll gain everything back, trust me.

    eat lots of fruits and veggies, and if you eat bread, make sure it’s whole grain. white bread is pretty fattening. you can also eat lean meats, like fish, turkey and chicken breast.

    skip out on sweets, candy, sugary foods, chips, ice cream, cake, and cookies.

    if you feel hungry, but don’t want to over eat, chew gum. it’ll keep your mouth busy and it tricks yourself into thinking your eating.

    cut out ALL soda! if you stop drinking soda, it helps you out a lot!
    and don’t forget to exercise!

    try walking, jogging, jump rope, dancing, bike riding and swimming. try exercising for 45-80 minutes a day.

    People ask this every day here and the answer is the same…

    Eat right (don’t diet, make a lifestyle change)
    Exercise

    That is how you lose weight and keep it off.

    Eating right consists of consuming fewer calories a day than you burn. Foods to focus on are lean protein, fruits and veggies (learn to like them or find some you like), whole grain products, healthy fats, and drink lots of water. Eat 4 – 6 small meals a day, and consume at least 1200 calories (go too low and it’ll have negative effects).

    Your exercise should consist of cardio for fat burning. This could be walking briskly, jogging, aerobics, dancing, swimming, bicycling, etc (anything that gets your heart rate up and keeps it there. Also include some strength training or muscle toning exercises to not only build a little muscle (to increase your metabolism) but to help prevent flab as you drop the weight. Shoot for at least 1 hr of exercise a day, at least 5 days a week.
