I need to lose 8 pounds in 6 days. I've been eating those lean cuisine meals, and in between when I get hungry, I drank water. But it hasn't helped that much. Is there another step I should do to lose more weight, like being more active? Please help and let me know. Thanks!

i want to lose about 10 pounds by 25th august couple days before i got back to school..

at the moment i have a bowl for special k for breakfast sometimes followed by half a melon then i dont eat anything until around 12 then i usually have a sandwich like a banana sandwich and then i dont eat anything until tea where i have a variety of foods like pasta, roast dinner etc healthish foods. most of my snack are healthy balance yogurts and fruit.

if i have the time i work out for at least 40 minutes in my gym we have in the garage.. 10 mins on the treadmill.. 10 mins on bike… and 20 mins on total gym and sometimes i have a wee dance lol

any suggestions on how to reach my goal?
not looking for health insurance thanks

I just wanted to get a few tips on the best way to lose weight :)
I am getting married in 8 months (and going backpacking overseas!), and I would like to lose at least 10-15kg before then (to fit into a wedding dress, and also so I am a little lighter and therfore more comfortable when backpacking – you know, not so unfit!)

Currently, this is what I eat in a day:
Breakfast – 1 serve each of carb and dairy
Lunch – 1 serve each of carb and vegies/alad
Dinner – 1 serve of carb, 1 serve of protien and 2.5 serves of vegies/salad.
I also have 2-3 snacks of fruit or low fat weight watchers snacks.
This is my exercise (daily):
1/2 hr of Yoga
1 hour Pilaties
1 hr of muscle and aerobics (crunches, step and slow jogs)
Weekly, I also do a 1 hour class of yoga and pilaties, and 2 half hour quick jogs.
I understand it takes sometime for the results to show etc, I just wanted to make sure I am on the right track and doing enough. Also any extra tips, eg, what has worked for you? Thanks!

I've have drunk almost 3 bottles of water today and i've used the restroom alot. I've barely ate anything. So when i excerise will i be burning more fat and losing the water weight?? (I'm fourteen)So I havea physical this Monday and this may sound dumb but I hate it when they tell you "Oh you're blank much taller and have gained blank pounds since your last visit." Well I haven't been in since my last physical which was two years ago and since then I've had a major growth spurt (like 5-6") and along with that came some weight. I just don't want to be embarrased or anything. Plus with being in highschool in the fall I want to make a good impression. And I've always had a bad thing with cravings and stuff like that. (I'm not fat or anything, for my height I could gain like 10-20 more pounds and still be average.) So is there anyway I could quickly lose a few pounds fast? I don't really have any exercizing equiptment and live in rural Wisconsin so I can't really just go out to a gym or anything. I don't really want to go there but purging? just until my physical? I'll still take like daily vitamins and stuff and not become bulimic so don't worry about that.Thanks!

This is humiliating…but maybe someone on here can help. I'm 27, weight almost 300 lbs :( . You're probably wondering why I said that…well I'm trying to exercise. I can remember when I was in high school, I played sports was very active. I got married, settled, gained double my weight. Sad, pathetic..I'm not feeling sorry for myself because I did it. I got divorced and my b/f lives in England. I got sent back from the UK b/c I had no visa, that's not the point..point is my weight…It's my fault and I take full responsibility for it. However, it's depressing. I just need little tips from people who've been in my situation and hope that you can give me some ray of hope. Today I walked 2 miles. I know that's not alot but I did just get off of a 10 hour work shift. I am so fricking tired. I try to count calories and makes sure that I am not eating crap. I don't even get on a scale because I think I've lost weight and it'd kill me if I've been doing all this for months
and nothings changed. I am walking every day. I just started walkinglast week, been dieting for a few months. I know I won't see overnight results, but am I walking enough? How far should I walk, I can't exactly run at this point, but I hope to be able to soon.
I pretty much don't eat anything but soup w/ chicken..I don't eat beef/pork/fish.

I'm trying to lose weight before July 28th, 2008. I excerise so much every single day. But i don't get any results. I'm starving myself so i can be skinny. I feel so much more comfortable when i'm skinny skinny. I want my stomach to be flat, i want my thighs and my cavles to be skinny like Carrie Underwoods or Miley Cyrus's. How can i lose weight quick?? In a week i want to lose up to 30 pounds or 20 pounds. Can ya'll help me?? I want to feel comfortable in shorts, in a bikini, and my own skin.
I'm not aneroxia. I will not have another eating disorder, and i don't want another. It was not fun to go through and it was hard on my parents

why cant i lose weight, I have a healthy shake in the morning then maybe a protein bar for a snack, at lunch i have another shake and then i workout then i have dinner. I am 15 years old.. 5'1, 108 pounds. I want to lose about 10 pounds. I have like a small beer belly and it bothers me. Like my stomach is my main concern. Also I don't eat but maybe 700 calories or so a day because I'm not fond of eating because everything I eat makes me sick. Like it makes me feel fatigued and tired. I hate it. Then once I eat I tend to go to bed because I don't feel good enough to exercise. I do drink a lot of soda though, but I can't stop because it's the only way I ever have any energy. But I tend to sleep like all day and stay up all night.. And I can't stop that either. I am only 15! What can I do!

Okay, So I'm over-weight. I would like to lose weight and body fat before school starts again, while school is going, and even after school is out. This is the plan I'm thinking of.
I wake up early, eat a good breakfast,(since its the most important meal) and then go ride my bike for 20-30 minutes, take a shower and then head to school, or whatever. Between two of my classes 10-11pm, have an apple or something. Just a healthy, quick snack. Then for lunch, have a healthy sandwich, filled with veggies and stuff, and a fruit or veg, and water to drink. And when I get home from school, have a light snack, and for dinner, have something light, like a white fish, and a salad or something. And then have a nice soothing bike ride to the nearby lake in my town.

Is that a good idea? Cause it sounds good and healthy to me!

Any opinions, or changes i could make to improve this diet?

So far Ive lost 6 lbs! I used to be 155 and now Im 149! :)

I'm thirteen years old, 5'1, and around 104 pounds. I really want to lose 10-20 pounds. I have fat on my stomach, my thighs, other parts of my legs, my butt, my arms, my hips, EVERYTHING. I don't know how to lose all of the fat! I do have a rather big appetite, but it's not like everything I eat is bad. Also I do a mild amount of exercise. Im having a really hard time losing an extra ten pounds. Ive been on a diet and exercising about 5 times a week for over 6 weeks and havent lost one pound. I look a little different so I assumed that I just gained muscle. However eveni if I gained muscle I still have fat around my stomach that I would like to lose.
The diet that I was on was the abs diet, where I pretty much ate whole wheat, fat free diary, some vegetables and water.
As far as exercie I went to the gym for awhile and did cardio for 30 min but not I do a dvd that covers cardio, abs, and muscle strength.
I dont know what to do anymore. Can anyone help?

i'm 14 and for going to high school i want to be confident and look great. right now im a size 5/7 and im unhappy with my body. i dont like my stomach the most and i'd kill for a flat stomach. im about 5'5'' and 130-ish pounds.
i want to be about a size 1/3 and 120 lbs. or a little less.

but the thing is, im at my grandmas house, i exersize every day, but she has alot of good, unhealthy food. and i am always eating and i know if i wanna loose weight i NEED to stop, but its soo hard. usually i feel great about what i eat, but then in the evening i always do something that makes me feel piggish, like eating ice cream, or a huge dinner.

how can i cut down my eating and loose weight???
help?
also….do crunches help make a flat stomach, i do about 100 everyday, and twists with bottles of lotion in my hands.
i also quit drinking pop and i drink all water, unless i get tea or slurpees from somewhere.

Honestly, I don't have the patience nor the will to do some complicated diet where I have to calculate the calories I eat and how much protein,fat,etc are in my meals. So I was just going to go for the portion control approach, eating more fruit and doing interval training on the treadmill, would this be a good way of losing weight?
